A useful middling brown natural stone with a pleasantly grainy texture. It has been very slightly tumbled, so that its corners are gently rounded. All sides are sawn, but because the stone is slightly coarse-grained this results in a nice, slightly textured look. There may be very small traces of adhesive on one side of each tessera; you can choose to ignore this, or you can get it off easily with warm water and a gentle rub.  Warwick brown is only available in 1cm tesserae, and not in larger chunks - sorry!
